Actor Rejects Anti-Vaxxer Views Following Narrating Contentious Covid Documentary

The acclaimed actor has given his vocal talents to a feature-length documentary that casts doubt on the efficacy of immunizations and commends ex- health official RFK Jr.

The Documentary's Contentious Foundation

Named "Plague of Corruption," the film is based on a well-known publication written by Judy Mikovits, who became famous during the pandemic for allegations that Covid was a result of a faulty batch of the influenza shot.

The book's co-author, Kent Heckenlively, has previously authored books with far-right media personality the Infowars host. The producer wrote online praising Neeson's role in the documentary.

A Firm Rebuttal

A spokesperson for Neeson have issued a response strongly denying claims that he supports anti-immunization sentiments.

"Everyone can acknowledge that unethical practices might be present within the medical sector, but that must not be equated to being against vaccines," the response explains. "Liam is not, and is not, anti-vaccination. His extensive work with Unicef reinforces his long-held support for public-health initiatives."

It continued that the actor did not shape the project's messaging and that concerns about its claims ought to go to the creators.

Central Assertions In the Feature

In the film, the voiceover provided by Neeson makes several provocative statements:

  • It states that pro-immunization voices have called for "unconditional submission" to government bodies.
  • It argues that "research has become highly politicized."
  • Robert F Kennedy Jr is featured saying, "The big problem with vaccines is that they are not properly vetted."
  • It also criticizes stay-at-home orders, saying they caused severe distress that cost thousands of lives.
  • Concerning the immunizations, it mentions a perspective that they were "rushed to market" and seen as "hazardous tests."

Past Background and Recent Disputes

It further cites a historical film about HIV drug testing on children, which was afterwards the subject of a formal apology by the corporation for violations of guidelines.

Recently, Kennedy instructed the national health agency to revise its official position that there is no connection between vaccines and autism spectrum disorder. This supposed link is echoed in the documentary, contrary to a fresh analysis from the World Health Organisation stating no connection has been found.

An Earlier Statement of Endorsement

Standing in contrast to the documentary's narrative, Neeson has formerly voiced strong support for vaccines in his role as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.

In 2022, he called vaccines as "a remarkable human success story," adding that "The discourse about vaccines in recent years has overlooked how much positive impact they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest human endeavors in human history."

The film ends with Neeson's script saying, "This is not the finish of our journey. This is the dawn of a new chapter."
